Happy Birthday

Here is a simple card I made for the ColorLab Color Challenge #45. The challenge this week was to use Melon Mambo (which is my favorite color), Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise.

This card is very simple, but very pretty at the same time. I cased this from my upline Debbie who always makes very pretty cards.

Sock Monkey - ColorLab Challenge #44

This week's ColorLab color challenge was to use Concord Crush, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizazz. (I added basic gray for the outline of my stamps.) Daffodil Delight is in the brights collection of the Stampin' Up! colors and happens to be one of my favorites. I probably would not have thought to use this color combo so I am thankful for ColorLab for putting them together. I used the Sock Monkey stamp set from Stampin' Up! which I just bought. My nieces and nephew are really into sock monkeys so I hope to get some good use out of this set. I hope you enjoy my card:

Father's Day card

I struggled at first with the color combination this week from ColorLab because these aren't the colors I typically go to. Thats one of my favorite things about these challenges. They are helping me think outside the box and choose different color combinations for my cards.



So here is my card for the ColorLab Color Challenge #43 which required I use Not Quite Navy, Riding Hood Red and Early Espresso and my card for Hand Stamped Sentiments which had a masculine them this week along with Stampin Royalty which is celebrating Dad this week. I hope you enjoy!
