Color Throwdown #147

Here are the colors for the Color Throwdown #147 this week.

I wasn't quite sure how this card would look since cherry cobbler and black are dark colors and blushing bride and sage shaddow are light colors. I tried to use each color kind of sparringly. This is what I came up with:

I'm not sure why, but I struggled with the color challenge from the Color Throwdown this week. The colors are great, but I just couldn't get my creative juices flowing. Here are the colors:

So I'm sitting in my craft room about to give up when I remember this awesome technique that my friend Marynn showed me a couple weeks ago. It's so simple and easy to do, but the card just looks great. I ended up using almost the same colors MaryAnn did when she showed us this technique. I'm sure she doesn't mind me casing this card from her.

Sympathy Card ~ Color Throwdown #145

So my Face Book friends have to be getting mad at me by now, lol. Color challenges have given me so much inspriation over this last week I just can't seem to get enough of them! The colors in the Color Throwdown this week were:

I thought these colors were very pretty together and I enjoyed putting them together to make my card:

I promise this is So Saffron and not Daffodil Delight. lol, my last card was dark and fuzzy. This one is so bright the colors don't look like the right ones. I really need to get a photo table set up in my craft room for pics of my cards.
