Explosion boxes

So a friend at work loved the explosion box I made for my niece so much she asked me to make here three. Here they are all together:

On this one I used Sunny Garden design series paper along with daffodil delight, peach parfait, and pear pizazz.

This one is my favorite. The colors and design series paper just look aewsome together. For this one I used Razzleberry Lemonade design series (which is no longer available, boo), rich razzleberry, melon mambo and peach parfait.

This one turned out kinda of cute too. I used the Ice Cream Shop design series paper from the Sale-a-Bration catalog along with pacific point, melon mambo and daffodil delight.

Michelle's graduation explosion box

So now that my niece, Michelle, has graduated I can finally display her explosion box. This box was the PERFECT size for a square necklace box to fit inside it. So her gift was not only the cute Hello Kitty necklace I bought her, but the decorated box which included several great quotes.

Explosion Box

I've always wanted to try making an explosion box. This weekend I was able to find some fairly simple instructions and last night made this one:

The paper is not Stampin' Up! as I wanted to do a trial run without ruining my good paper. I am not sure what exactly to use the box for personally, but I've already had one person at work with some ideas. Guess I'll be placing a Stampin' Up! order very soon so I can get some pattern paper for the inside. I can't wait to see what a Stampin' Up! version will look like with all their wonderful colors and patterns. :)

PS - If anyone has suggestions on what can go inside or what they have put insde their explosion box, please share. I would love to hear what others have done.
