Hello out there! This is my first blog. I'm very excited to get started on this. Please bear with me as I learn. I hope to post some cards on here later today. Unfortunately all my pictures are on my laptop downstairs and I'm upstairs on the kids computer. I was checking out the ads and before I knew it I was creating a blog.
This weekend has been pretty eventful. Yesterday I went to the Stamp Scrap Art tour that visited Columbia, SC. I've never gone to this event before. Man was I in AWE!!! There were about 16 or so different vendors showing and selling tons of different things. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around everything I saw. I bought a lot of stamps at the event so I'll be making cards with those soon.
Today I have been concentrating on making a few wedding cards. I recently bought the CardMaker's Sketchbook Birthday Celebration so I'll be moving on to birthdays soon. The sketches are great! I usually start out with a sketch in mind, but by the time I'm done I've created something different. Sometimes all you need is a little help to get you started.
Anyway, I've rambled on enough. Gonna get back to some card making until my husband gets home and I can run out for a few supplies. Again, I'll try and post some pictures before the weekend is over.
Way to go Jennifer - it looks great so far - can't wait to see all you do with it. I'm glad you had fun yesterday - it's hard not to be in awe, isn't it?
